Designed specifically for EMS / EMT and other Paramedic First Responders, EDI-USA’s bullet resistant EMS / EMT vest is used by medical first responders and other emergency rescue personnel that need to operate in dangerous areas. This vest is trusted by many medical first responders around the world, and is an important item to help keep workers safe during their operations.

Comfortably manufactured for mobility & flexibility, this vest is produced in a bright yellow color for visibility with a reflective gray band. It includes adjustable shoulder and waist straps for comfort and security. Identifying Velcro patches are included on the front & back of this vest.

Designed with comprehensive ballistic protection, this vest is tested to ballistic level III-A (ambient) & HG2 (ambient), and includes ballistic protection on the front, back, and sides to resist up to .44mag threats, as well as lower threats such as 9mm and .357mag. The vest features additional front and back pockets for users to insert hard armor plates (HAPs) if required. This vest is also available to be produced with anti-stab and anti-spike protection built into it, upon request.

To help support medical personnel, this vest includes 1 over-sized utility / medical pouch, along with 1 long pouch that can be used for flashlights, medical items, or other equipment, and 1 radio pouch with a Velcro closure strap.

This vest is available in high-vis yellow color, and can be custom-designed in additional colors upon request.

This vest is available with EMS, EMT, PARAMEDIC or other Velcro patches for the front & back. Custom colors also available upon request.

EDI-USA’s MICH Ballistic Helmet, designed for EMS / EMT first responders and paramedic teams, is the ballistic helmet of choice when providing emergency care in dangerous environments.

Tested to ballistic level III-A (ambient) and HG2 (ambient), as well as to STANAG 2920 (V50) ballistic fragmentation standards, this helmet is strong and resistant, and is available with or without side rails & front mount. Equipped with strong interior padding for maximum comfort and an adjustable chin strap, this helmet is lightweight, comfortable and easy to wear.

This helmet is available in navy blue color to help clearly identify the user. It is also available in custom colors (if required) and can have EMS, EMT, MEDIC, or other words printed on the front and back (custom production). Please contact us if you require a custom quote.

Note on suspension system: This helmet is available with a rubber chin cup, or with a double chin strap (without rubber chin cup). In addition, the interior suspension system can be manufactured with an adjustment ratchet knob. Please specify when ordering which you would like.

The EDI-USA bullet-resistant Paramedic Responder Vest is designed for paramedics, emergency medical personnel, and first responders who may be required to operate in high-risk environments. Its fluorescent yellow exterior provides enhanced visibility, while the black trim and prominent PARAMEDIC identification patch allow personnel to be quickly recognized during emergency operations.

Ergonomically designed for mobility and flexibility, the vest features adjustable shoulder and waist straps for a secure, comfortable fit. Front and rear identification panels allow additional agency or personnel patches to be attached as needed. Integrated MOLLE webbing provides convenient attachment points for medical pouches, radios, flashlights, and other mission-essential equipment.

The vest is tested to ballistic protection levels NIJ III-A (ambient) and HG2 (ambient). It provides soft-armor coverage to the front and back, helping protect against handgun threats including .44 Magnum, .357 Magnum, and 9mm ammunition. Front and rear plate pockets also accommodate hard armor plates when additional protection is required. The vest can also be made available without ballistic plates as needed.

Produced in a sleek, comfortable, and breathable design, this plate carrier vest is available in navy blue color for visibility with an over-sized Velcro patch on the front and back to identify the user. The carrier includes adjustable shoulder and waist straps (clips) for comfort and security.

Designed to support comprehensive ballistic protection, this plate carrier does not include any ballistic protection, and can fit standard level III, III+ and IV hard armor plates (HAPs) in the front and back (shooters cut only). If you need help choosing hard armor plates (HAPs), please contact us. In addition, this vest is also available to be produced with level III-A soft armor panels, and can be upgraded to include anti-stab and anti-spike protection built into it, upon request. Please contact us for agency or individual orders that require the ballistic panels or plates to be within this plate carrier vest.

To help support medical personnel, this vest includes MOLLE webbing line on the front and back, so you can attach pouches, radios or other MOLLE-compatible accessories to the vest.

The EDI Electric Vehicle Fire Blanket is designed to help contain lithium-ion battery and vehicle fires by limiting the spread of flames, extreme heat, sparks, and hazardous debris while emergency responders manage the incident. Manufactured from durable, high-temperature-resistant fabric with a fire-resistant silicone coating, each blanket features reinforced seams, heavy-duty pull handles, and heat-resistant stitching for fast, controlled deployment. Three sizes are available for applications ranging from smaller battery incidents to standard and oversized electric vehicles.

Electric and hybrid vehicle batteries can enter thermal runaway, causing temperatures to rise rapidly and creating a chain reaction between adjoining cells. Designed for two-person deployment, the EDI EV Fire Blanket helps restrict oxygen, contain flames and heat, and reduce the risk of fire spreading to nearby vehicles and property.

Fire-Resistance Testing:

Testing and certifications vary by size. The 8 × 6 m and 12 × 9 m blankets resisted temperatures of 1,000°C (1,832°F) for 90 minutes during BS 476-20/22:1987 furnace testing. Both models passed ASTM D6413/D6413M-22 vertical-flame testing and NFPA 701 flame-propagation testing and are certified to DIN SPEC 91489:2024-11 for electric-vehicle fire-limitation blankets.

Under ISO EN 13501-1:2018, the 8 × 6 m model is classified A2, s1, d0, while the 12 × 9 m model is classified B, s2, d0. The 4 × 3 m blanket’s base fabric withstands 1,000°C when unstressed and has a melting point above 1,600°C.
