Side Ballistic Plates

Hard Armor Plates (HAP’s) dare designed for side use are important to help enhance the safety of the user in case of bullets that may be shot from the user’s exposed sides. These side plates are typically smaller than standard armor plates and are very lightweight to help the user feel comfortable and mobile during tactical operations.

EDI-USA’s side ballistic plates are available in two (2) sizes and can be inserted into the sides of plate carriers or bullet-resistant vests with space for side plates. EDI’s side ballistic plates are tested to level III or IV ballistic resistance, and are available in ICW or Stand Alone models.

Custom sizes are available for production.
