Developed as a lightweight option between level III and level IV, this customized IV-IS hard armor plate is manufactured to resist up 7.62 FMJ NATO and 5.56x45mm, in a Stand Alone construction. The plate can also be used to in conjunction with level III-A ballistic vests to add a stronger layer of protection again rifle rounds.
Our strong ballistic plates are available in shooter’s cut (front style) or rectangular cut (back style) and are lightweight and mobile – ideal for tactical and non-tactical situations. Also available in side-cut plate styles.
Each plate is manufactured with durable hard blocks of propriety ballistic material, and is held together by a durable layer of soft armor. The plate is then wrapped in a layer of durable black nylon and sealed to help prevent entrance of liquid of humidity.
