EDI-USA’s MICH (ACH) Helmet with or without side rails & front mount is one of EDI’s best selling helmets for law enforcement officials. Equipped with strong interior padding for maximum comfort, this helmet will keep you safe when you need it most.
Tested to III-A (ambient) and HG2 (ambient) to resist ballistic threats up to .44mag, including lower threats such 9mm and .357 sig, this ballistic helmet is lightweight, comfortable, and easy to wear. It provides comprehensive head protection from the forehead to the back of the head, including ear protection.
In addition to being tested to III-A and HG2 ballistic resistance, this helmet is also tested to STANAG 2920 (V50) fragmentation standards to help resist shrapnel and other fragmentation threats during operations.
This helmet includes a pair of mounted picatinny side rails, and front NVG mount, along with two (2) bunjees, and external velcro. With these tactical accessories, users can add-on different attachments such as flashlights, cameras, night vision, patches, and other tactical equipment required for the user’s operations.
This helmet is comfortable, lightweight, and extremely mobile. It includes a strong interior padding system for maximum comfort, with pads that can be removed or adjusted (or cleaned) with the included velcro. The strong nylon suspension system can be adjusted to fit the user’s head snugly during use.
Note on suspension system: This helmet is available with a rubber chin cup, or with a double chin strap (without rubber chin cup). Please specify which you would like when ordering. In addition, this helmet can be produced with a protective ballistic (level II or III-A) neck protector.
This helmet can also be produced with customized inner suspension systems, including a ratchet-dial adjustment knob, or a BOA inner suspension knob system.
